COVID UPDATE: 
- Ontario reported another 1,249 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday and 12 more deaths linked to the illness. The newly confirmed cases drove the seven-day average down to about 1,423, from 1,443 yesterday.

CAMPUS: 
- Western ranked eighth for student experience in Maclean’s 2021 University Rankings — a significant drop compared to previous years, which likely reflects the university’s adjustment to online learning earlier this year.

LOCAL AND NATIONAL: 
- Case counts for COVID-19 in the London region were low on Monday, with five people testing positive, but health officials are warning young people and the restaurant industry to be vigilant.

- After closing its Ontario processing facility in 2014, Heinz will soon make ketchup in Canada once again. U.S. food conglomerate Kraft Heinz Co. announced in a news release Tuesday that starting next summer, it will produce 45 million kilograms of ketchup every year at a facility in Montreal.

SPORTS: 
- Runaway championship leader Lewis Hamilton overcame a sluggish start to win the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix for a record-extending 93rd Formula One victory.

WEATHER: 
- Expect the temperatures to be ranging between 0 and -2 degrees Celsius today. A snow squall warning has been issued for London. The day will experience flurries and snow squalls later in the evening. On Wednesday, expect the temperatures to be similar.
