For the first year Radio Western is programming Indigenous Day Radio. We have a packed schedule filled with Indigenous music, artist and musician interviews, traditional singing and voices from across Canada speaking about what Solidarity Day means to them.

Mi’kmaq voices (5 part series) - (Liverpool, N.S interviewee Kinsey, a 16 year old Mi’kmaw high school journalist who conducted interviews covering topics of residential schools, traditional plant medicines, crafts, drumming/music and concluding with a look of Mi’kmaq language being taught on the south shore of Nova Scotia)
