Ever After Music Fest is celebrating its 5th year and the festival is growing massively each year. From a zip-line, high class lineup of DJs, assortment of food trucks, and state of the art sound system, the event that takes place in Kitchener in Canada is proving hard to top year after year.
In order to help break down the best artists to see over the weekend, we're presenting a break down of 5-Must See sets at Ever After Music Festival this year. From Feed Me, Chris Lake, HE$H, G Jones, and a quadruple b2b performance, there is nothing short of amazing talent confirmed playing this upcoming weekend.
Feed Me on Friday - 7:55 to 9:25pm - Excalibur Stage
Feed Me is coming off a high mountain from just releasing 'High Street Creeps', his latest album. He now plans to deliver some of that stunning music to his listeners and fan base through his live sets. I've only heard that Feed Me is able to make an amazing performance through drawing from his large and in-depth discography as well as his history in the UK bass scene. That is why this is one set not to miss.
G Jones on Friday - 6:50 to 7:50pm - Excalibur Stage
G Jones is one up and coming artist that has been on the festival route for the last few years and is driving everyone crazy with his unbelievable bass productions. Drawing from experimental influences and a range of abstract sounds, G Jones is able to turn his unique style of dubstep into an audible experience. Just check out his latest album from 2018, '222 / Unknowable' to learn why he is making such serious waves. Also on the Friday, G Jones is a set worth seeing.
Chris Lake on Saturday - 7:00 to 8:00pm - Upside Down House
Chris Lake is worth seeing for his skills as a DJ alone. He manages to deliver a meaningful set whenever he gets behind the decks. He is certainly worth seeing live since he will be a well needed dose of a different kind of electronic music over the bass heavy weekend. Chris Lake is one house DJ that has built his own sound as well and can skillfully weave that signature style throughout his sets. That is why Chris Lake scores on the top 5 sets to see and hear on Saturday.

Excision on Satuday - 9:30 to 11pm - Excalibur Stage
Without a doubt, one of the most anticipated sets to hear at Ever After Music Fest is Excision. He's headlined nearly every single year and can be guaranteed to throw down an energetic set for listeners. Excision knows how to handle a crowd full of bass heads and will play up to their interests. His 2018 album Apex is guaranteed to get some serious play, as the set features some hard hitting bangers. Additionally, Excision has a large discography to draw from and always finds a moment to leave you listening to the unexpected.
Boogie T b2b SQUNTO b2b Subtronics b2b Al Ross on Sunday - 8:00 to 9:30pm - Chop Up Hill
Alright, so even though there is four artists listed, Ever After has been known to throw down some serious b2b sets fairly consistently every year. It's almost a Holy Ship situation on stage sometimes. The Funtcase b2b 12th Planet b2b Cookie Monsta performance was so nasty in 2017 they had to bring back all three again for the same energy in 2018. You can expect a similar form of high energy from these four bass legends on the final night, Sunday. For those still looking to rage, there is a large enough bass set to go head bang to.
